- Dogs must shed, this is a natural process for removing old or damaged hair. Seasonal shedding is necessary for overall dog health. However, dogs with really exessive shedding may be due to stress, poor nutrition or a medical problem and you should consult your vet. Our product is designed to address shedding that is caused by underlying stress to the dogs system ie allergies, skin issues associated with environmental exposure to harmful agents and simply dry skin. In these applications the product has been seen to be extremely effective. In addition the appearance of the dogs overall coat is often quite remarkable.
- Yes! Our highest selling product at K9 Power Show Stopper, our skin and coat supplement. Skin and coat problems are very common is dogs. One common cause is allergic reactions to their food or environmental exposure. Show Stopper is packed with Omega 3 fatty acids, which are effective in alleviating the harmful effects of allergies and other conditions that result from an over-active immne system. We also include various emollients (moisturizers, like olive and coconut oils) to reduce and restore dry skin and has probiotics, prebiotics and digestive enzymes to support better digestion.
- Once Show Stopper is introduced and your dog is consuming it daily, new hair growth may be visible within a week or two. Their new coat should shed less due to the healthier skin underneath. For full results, we recommend evaluating your dog's skin and coat health over the course of a full 4-5 weeks of use.
- Some dogs react more dramatically to changes in their diet. Sometimes this occurs when they eat something in the wild (your yard or the park), but it can also occur when you change foods or introduce something new, like a supplement. Start with 1/4 serving on Day 1 and work up to a full serving over 7-10 days, gradually increasing over time. Many customers find that it's best to add small amount of water to make a gravy when serving with dry food.
- It is certainly okay to mix our products. If you are using two products, we recommned serving one at one feeding and one at the other, but they can be mixed as well in a single feeding, assuming this does not affect your dog's willingness to eat.
- Our K9 Power Term of Validity is 18 months starting from a product's production date. The Best By date is stamped on our packaging, as well as the lot number. For safe storage, keep your containers in a cool, clean, dry place. Never put them above the stove, under the sink, in a damp garage or basement, or any place exposed to high or low temperature extremes.
